The Fort Valley Volunteer Fire Department is always looking for people who may be interested in serving as firefighters, auxiliary members, or in some other form of volunteering. All training is provided.  If you are looking for a way to give back to your community, as well as take on a new adventure, the fire department is right for you. There are age restrictions and you must pass a background check.  To find out more, drop in on one of the monthly meetings held at the Fire Department at 7:30 pm, every first Tuesday. It could prove to be your first step in becoming a qualified Fort Valley Volunteer Fire Dept. firefighter.
